S-Zone LTTA in the Netherlands (8–14 March 2025): strengthening skills for inclusive adult education

From 8 to 14 March 2025, S-Zone partners took part in an international Learning, Training and Teaching Activity (LTTA) in the Netherlands, continuing our joint work to promote inclusive and meaningful learning opportunities for seniors (50+).

The LTTA supported the project’s mission to strengthen adult education professionals’ competencies and reinforce transnational cooperation, ensuring that innovative approaches can be implemented locally in each partner country.

Why this LTTA matters

S-Zone addresses key challenges affecting older adults, such as:

  • Risk of social exclusion
  • Intergenerational and social barriers
  • The need for accessible lifelong learning opportunities

By learning together and exchanging practices, 12 staff from partners improve their capacity to deliver community-based actions that combine motivation, creativity and inclusion, with a strong focus on seniors’ wellbeing and participation.

Next steps: the consortium will continue translating this shared learning into local activities and dissemination actions, so that educators, organizations and senior communities across Europe can benefit from S-Zone outcomes.
